About Michael William

Michael has cooked on quick service lines since 2020 and writes about menus, pricing and nutrition alongside the job. That background shapes the site: someone who has worked a service line knows what a menu board leaves out, and can turn a nutrition table into something you can actually use in the thirty seconds before you order.

It is also why this site publishes price ranges. Fast food menu prices are set restaurant by restaurant, against local rent, wages and whoever is competing across the street. A single national price is a number that is wrong almost everywhere.

He writes in a personal capacity. He has never worked for Burger King, and nothing here is written with access to company information or endorsed by Burger King Corporation, Restaurant Brands International, or any franchisee.

What he handles

  • Setting the sourcing policy and deciding which references the site accepts
  • Reviewing menu, price and calorie figures before they are published
  • Handling corrections sent in by readers
  • Writing and editing the guides, comparisons and menu pages

The standards he applies

Nothing goes up that cannot be checked

If a price or calorie figure cannot be traced back to a published reference, it is left out rather than estimated. A wrong price on a price site is worse than no price at all. Figures are generated by a build script rather than typed in, so no two pages can disagree about the same item.

Disagreements are shown, not smoothed over

Where our references differ on an item, both ends are published and the item is flagged. Averaging two numbers into one would hide the uncertainty instead of reporting it.

Freshness is claimed honestly

Pages carry a "prices checked" date, not a vague "updated" badge. A rebuild is not a claim that Burger King changed a price that day.

No reviews, no ratings, no invented markup

This site collects no reviews and does not own the Burger King brand, so it publishes no review or rating structured data.

Corrections

If a figure here is wrong, say so. The most useful reports name the item, the number we show, the number you saw, and the city — that is enough to re-check it the same day. One thing worth knowing: a local price that falls inside our published range is the range working, not an error.

Michael does not accept payment to feature, favor or leave out any menu item or brand, and advertising has no influence on the data. See about this site for how it is funded.
